Locum Tenens Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Needed in Arkansas

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Physician for a 70-day assignment in Arkansas. This role primarily involves 24-hour call shifts from 7a-7a, with no set dates yet; candidates should indicate their maximum shift availability. Responsibilities encompass a range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, Nissen fundoplication, head/neck surgery, PA catheter placement, laser certification, and vascular surgery, alongside potential clinic duties and managing urgent or emergent CV surgical patients while on call.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Laparoscopic Surgery
• Conduct Appendectomy procedures
• Execute Cholecystectomy operations
• Perform Hernioplasty procedures
• Conduct Nissen Fundoplication
• Perform Head/neck surgery, including thyroid procedures
• Implement PA Catheter placement
• Utilize Laser certification techniques
• Perform Vascular Surgery
• See patients in a clinic setting as needed
• Manage urgent, emergent, or outpatient Cardiovascular Surgical cases while on call

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Setting: Clinic and Call (Out of House Call)
• Call Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a). Candidates should submit their maximum shift commitment.
• Patients Per Day: 10-12 (inpatient and outpatient)
• LOA: 70 Days
