Locum Tenens Physician - Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Needed in Oklahoma

We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Physician for a 120-day assignment in Oklahoma. The client offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a unique rotation blending one week onsite and three weeks remote each month, including dedicated administrative time. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various mental health symptoms, providing psychiatric interventions, psychopharmacology, and therapy, with a focus on adolescent cases covering ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a variety of mental health symptoms and diagnoses.
• Offer appropriate psychiatric interventions including psychopharmacology and therapy services.
• Manage adolescent cases such as ADHD, ADD, behavioral issues, depression, self-harming behaviors, chemical dependence, and bipolar disorder.
• Address severe anxiety disorders, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
• Provide psychiatric coverage and support for autistic children.
• Handle outpatient cases of bulimia and anorexia, typically following inpatient treatment.
• Conduct crisis interventions as needed, particularly for self-harming behaviors.
