Locum Tenens Physician - Child Neurologist Needed in Ohio

We are seeking a dedicated Child Neurologist to join our client in Ohio for a 49-day assignment. This role requires coverage 7 days per month, involving 24-hour shifts focused on weekend rounding, interpreting EEGs, and managing general pediatric neurology cases including pediatric stroke, migraine, epilepsy, and neurobehavioral disorders. The position includes out-of-house call duties, primarily managed by phone.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour shifts, 8AM-8AM, focusing on weekend coverage.
• Interpret EEGs within a Epilepsy Center.
• Conduct rounding and manage call duties at two hospitals.
• Manage a low inpatient volume, averaging 1-2 patients at any given time.
• Address a variety of general Pediatric Neurology cases, including pediatric stroke, migraine, epilepsy, metabolic or degenerative conditions, and neurobehavioral disorders.
• Handle admissions primarily done by a Pediatric Hospitalist, typically 2-3 per day.
