Locum Tenens Physician - Surgery - Colon & Rectal Needed in Georgia

We are seeking a dedicated Colon & Rectal Surgeon for a 60-day assignment in Georgia. The role primarily involves clinic shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and possible Fridays. Key responsibilities include general surgery, adult GI endoscopy, upper and lower endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general surgical care
• Manage adult patient cases
• Perform GI endoscopy, including upper and lower procedures
• Conduct sigmoidoscopy examinations
• Execute colonoscopy procedures

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Colon & Rectal Surgery, Complex General Surgical Oncology
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patient Volume: Up to 30 patients per day
• LOA: 60 Days
• Staffing Mix: 1 RN, 2 MAs
