Job Description

Our client in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 42-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves covering 7P - 7A shifts, serving as primary coverage with physician secondary call, managing admissions and consults, and working with in-house anesthesia. A strong candidate will be comfortable with a census of 12-16 patients and preferably possess skills in central and arterial line placement.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary coverage, with physician available for secondary call at all times
• Manage admissions and consults
• Collaborate with in-house anesthesia
• Oversee a patient census ranging from 12 to 16
• Work 7P - 7A shifts

• Required Board Certifications: Critical Care Medicine and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
