Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a Physician Assistant - Critical Care Medicine for an engaging 117-day assignment in Missouri. This assignment features a varied schedule of night shifts, typically from 1830 to 0700. The successful candidate will manage pre- and post-operative patients, ECMO, and oversee responsibilities within the floor, CTICU, and MICU settings, including cardiac surgery cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage pre- and post-operative patients, including ECMO.
• Oversee responsibilities for the floor and CTICU.
• Provide care for patients in CTICU and MICU.
• Perform pre- and post-operative floor work, particularly for CT Surgery cases.

• Patients per day: Census is typically 8-12 floor and ICU patients.

• Staffing Mix: 3 Cardiothoracic APPs during weekdays, 1 during weekend. 1 attending surgeon is always available.
