Job Description

We are seeking a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 42-day assignment with our client in Virginia, starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves night shifts from 7pm to 7am, working independently with an Intensivist on call. Key responsibilities include demonstrating proficiency in general critical care medicine procedural skills and providing comprehensive case log documentation.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work night shifts, 7pm to 7am.
  • Operate independently with an Intensivist available on call as backup.
  • Provide case log documentation of inpatient care for a minimum of 100 patients in the critical care unit within the past 12 months.
  • Provide case log documentation demonstrating a minimum of 15 intubations, 15 central line placements, and 15 arterial line placements within the past 12 months.
  • Ensure all required procedural case logs meet minimum requirements throughout the entire privileging process.
