Locum Tenens Dentist - WI Needed in Wisconsin

Our client in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Dentist for a 65-day assignment. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with patient care from 8:20 AM to 4:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch. The incoming Dentist will focus on general dentistry for patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on providing care to children aged 9-14, ensuring comprehensive dental health services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform basic restorative procedures including fillings, replacing existing restorations, and build-ups.
• Conduct routine and simple extractions, including some molar extractions.
• Execute crown and bridge work, including crown preparations, temporary crowns, cementation, and bridges.
• Provide basic endodontic care, performing straightforward anterior/premolar root canals based on comfort level.
• Perform comprehensive exams and diagnostics, including new patient exams, periodic exams, emergency/limited exams, and X-ray review.
• Offer preventive care such as treatment planning, fluoride applications, and sealants.
• Manage basic prosthodontics, including dentures/partials, adjustments, and repairs.
• Address emergency dentistry cases like toothaches, broken teeth/restorations, infections, and other acute issues.

• Comfortable working with children, specifically ages 9-14
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patient Volume: 8-10 procedures per day, plus 6 hygiene patients per day
• LOA: 65 days
• Staffing Mix: 1 front office, 1 office manager, 2 hygienists, 3 assistants (one will be leaving on maternity leave during this assignment), and Dr. Galanes
