Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner for a 104-day assignment in Tennessee, starting Aug 10, 2026. This role involves a typical schedule of 7AM-4:30PM with 8 patient hours, including 1-2 half-days of surgery per week. The successful candidate will focus on medical and surgical dermatology, managing conditions such as sun damage and various rashes, and performing procedures like biopsies and excisions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Practice clinical independence, relying minimally on the supervising physician for routine procedures.
  • Maintain an excellent office manner, contributing positively to a friendly and fair clinic culture.
  • Possess prior hands-on experience working in a dermatology setting.
  • Demonstrate primary experience in medical and surgical dermatology, with a limited focus on cosmetic procedures.
  • Exhibit extensive experience in diagnosing and treating sun damage and its results, including Actinic Keratosis and skin cancers.
  • Proficiently diagnose and treat a wide variety of rashes, such as eczema, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis.
  • Diligently review and follow up on all lab results.
  • Comfortably and proficiently communicate with patients via phone to discuss results and treatment plans.
  • Competently perform both shave and punch biopsies.
  • Skillfully perform the excision of benign and malignant skin lesions.
  • Proficiently perform Electrodesiccation and Curettage (ED&C) procedures.
  • Administer liquid nitrogen treatments effectively.
  • Oversee Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) sessions.
  • Participate in one to two half-days of surgery per week.
