Job Description

We are seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant for a 120-day assignment in New York, starting Jul 20, 2026. Our client requires coverage for 8-hour shifts at a busy dermatology clinic, potentially providing float support to an additional clinic. The role involves managing a full spectrum of dermatological cases, including skin cancer screenings, treatment of medical and esthetic conditions, and the option to perform minor surgeries for experienced providers.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care for a full range of dermatological, laser, and cosmetic skincare cases.
  • Conduct skin cancer screenings and treat fine lines, wrinkles, and other medical and esthetic conditions.
  • Manage patient volumes typically between 25-35 per day, with flexible scheduling options.
  • Collaborate with support staff (LPN, RN, MA), typically one per every 12 patients.
  • Potentially provide float support to another dermatology clinic approximately 30 minutes away, if needed.
  • Work within a network of two dermatology clinics supported by a full team, including a dermatology physician, licensed esthetician, and additional support staff.
  • Opportunity to perform minor surgeries for providers with relevant experience.
