Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine Needed in Arizona

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 42-day assignment in Arizona. The schedule involves 7-14 shifts per month, encompassing 12-hour day or night shifts. This role focuses on providing comprehensive emergency medical care within an outpatient setting, ensuring patient well-being and efficient service delivery throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Work 12-hour day or night shifts, maintaining patient flow and care standards
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions

Additional Information

• Board Certification: Emergency Medicine
• EMR: Cerner
• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No call responsibilities
• Patient Volume: 2-4 patients per hour (approximately 30,000 annual visits)
• LOA: 42 Days
• Staffing Mix: 1 APP on day shift, solo MD on night shift
