Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine Needed in New York

Our client in New York is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 32-day assignment. This role involves 12-hour shifts, covering both nights and days, with a schedule that includes specific dates in November and 5-7 ongoing shifts per month, providing comprehensive emergency department coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 12-hour coverage in the Emergency Department, encompassing both day and night shifts.
• Manage a diverse patient population, including both pediatric and adult cases.
• Work collaboratively alongside a physician and another Advanced Practice Provider.
• Contribute to the daily patient census management, which is distributed among the medical team across shifts.

• Staffing Mix: APPs daily (one works 9 AM to 9 PM, the other works 2 PM to 2 AM) alongside one MD
