Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine Needed in Massachusetts

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in MA. Our client requires coverage for night shifts, with flexible 8, 11, and 12-hour shifts available. The role involves managing low-risk chest pain, performing laceration repair, incision and drainage, fracture and dislocation reduction, and similar procedures. This Physician will not be responsible for responding to codes or deliveries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage low-risk chest pain cases.
• Perform laceration repair and incision and drainage procedures.
• Handle fracture and dislocation reduction.
• Provide care for similar emergency medicine presentations.
• Note: Physicians are not responsible for responding to codes.
• Note: Deliveries are sent directly to the Labor and Delivery department.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required.
• Required certifications include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• EMR System: Meditech EHR.
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only).
• Call Schedule: Yes.
• Patients per day: Approximately 30.
• Staffing Mix: APP coverage is available.
