Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine Needed in NC

Job Description

Our client in NC is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 1-day assignment. This role involves providing standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts, managing a diverse range of cases including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts.
• Manage cases related to Anesthesia.
• Handle General Surgery cases.
• Address Orthopedic Surgery cases.
• Oversee Radiology cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
• EMR: Meditech EHR.
• Inpatient setting.
• No call schedule.
• Patients per day: Typically 18-20 patients in a 12-hour shift.
• LOA: 1 Day.
• Staffing Mix: 2 PAs/NPs.
