Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for an 18-day assignment in North Carolina. This vital role involves providing standard solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts, encompassing both day and night rotations. The physician will manage a diverse range of cases, contributing to a department that handles a significant patient volume and ensuring high-quality, continuous emergency care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage during 12-hour shifts.
• Manage a diverse range of cases including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology.
• Contribute to patient care within a department.

Additional Information

• Board Certification required in Emergency Medicine.
• EMR: Meditech EHR.
• Required certifications include Medicaid Certification and Provider Enrollment and Chain/Ownership System (PECOS).
• Inpatient setting.
• No call requirements.
• Anticipate seeing 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift.
• LOA: 18 Days.
• Staffing mix consists of 1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage.
