Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 9-day assignment in Massachusetts, commencing Sep 1, 2026. This role involves a 7 AM to 3 PM schedule, with daily rounding on sick patients starting at 7:30 AM. The successful candidate will manage an addiction component for opioid use disorder, coordinate care with outside facilities, and handle significant administrative tasks, including occasional direct patient visits.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Round on sick patients daily, starting at 7:30 AM.
• Address the addiction component for opioid use disorder.
• Coordinate patient care with outside hospitals and doctor offices.
• Provide support to mid-level providers onsite.
• Manage significant administrative work, including timely email responses and collaborating with the dental team for patient clearances.
• Conduct occasional direct patient encounters, typically not exceeding 10 per day.
• Maintain cleanliness of medical exam rooms and manage personal procedures or cases.

Additional Information

• Work schedule is 7 AM to 3 PM, with rounding starting at 7:30 AM.
• Patient volume includes rounding on 20-30 patients, with occasional direct patient encounters up to 10 per day.
