Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in Maine

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 47-day assignment in Maine, commencing Mar 1, 2026. This role involves a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, with three dedicated to primary care and one to a walk-in clinic. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive family medicine, manage chronic conditions, perform medication management, address minor urgent care cases, and conduct post-discharge follow-ups, primarily serving an older patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care in a clinic setting
• Manage a diverse patient population with a focus on geriatrics and older adults
• Deliver full scope primary care services
• Oversee chronic care management and medication protocols
• Support the walk-in clinic, addressing minor urgent care cases as needed
• Perform post-discharge follow-ups from the ED
• Comfortably manage patients on chronic medications
