Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in Maine

We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an 80-day assignment in Maine, commencing Mar 15, 2026. This role involves working 4 10-hour shifts per week, providing comprehensive family medicine and walk-in clinic support, including managing geriatric patients, chronic care, medication management, and post-discharge follow-ups.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and walk-in setting care.
• Manage a significant patient population, including geriatrics and older individuals.
• Deliver full-scope primary care services.
• Oversee chronic care management and medication regimens.
• Offer support for minor urgent care cases within the walk-in clinic.
• Be proficient in managing patients with chronic medications.
• Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
• Address the healthcare needs of a diverse patient population from various networks.
• Conduct post-discharge follow-ups from the Emergency Department.
• Manage higher acuity cases, particularly within the elderly and older patient demographic.
