Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in New Jersey

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment with our client in New Jersey, starting Nov 30, 2024. This intermittent schedule involves specific 10a-6p shifts, focusing on general primary care with a diverse patient base, including chronic and acute care cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide general primary care, managing chronic and acute care cases.
• Perform basic wound care, ear wax removal, skin biopsies, and skin cyst removals.
• Apply stitches and manage suture/staple removal.
• Administer joint, tendon, and trigger point injections.
• Conduct skin tag removal and incision and drainage of abscesses.
• Perform Pap smears, endometrial biopsies, IUD removals, and Nexplanon removals.
• Note: Occupational health cases are not part of the required duties for this role.

• Required Board Certifications: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
• Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
