Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 100-day assignment in New Mexico. This role involves flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, primarily weekdays with some weekend flexibility, focusing on prescribing narcotics and overseeing patient care as the most senior provider on-site during nights.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prescribe narcotics and other necessary medications
  • Serve as the most senior provider on-site during night shifts
  • Conduct day-to-day assessments and intake screenings
  • Manage a variety of patient cases including strep, cough, cold, warts, hypertension, diabetes, and cancer
  • Address possible injuries
  • Provide care for a large inmate population, including daily dosing and detox management
  • Provide Suboxone prescriptions as needed

  • Board Certifications: Internal Medicine, Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC), Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
