Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice Needed in NY

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in New York, beginning Jul 6, 2026. This high-volume outpatient and community-based role primarily focuses on primary care, urgent care, minor procedures, and collaborative team-based care, with a consistent 9a-5p shift schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage chronic disease patients, including those with diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia
• Conduct physicals and address acute sick visits such as upper respiratory infections, influenza, UTIs, minor injuries, rash, and other infections
• Provide care for patients with some overlap in behavioral health (depression, anxiety), women's health, and pediatrics (well-child visits, vaccines, common illnesses)
• Deliver comprehensive care in a true community health setting, serving a diverse and often underserved population
