Job Description

Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 16-day assignment starting Sep 9, 2026. This vital role involves serving as the sole provider in a primary care clinic, managing patient care for employees and their families, and includes specific shift hours of 16. The position requires potentially assisting with front office duties and blood draws.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider in a primary care clinic for employees and their family members.
  • Provide comprehensive care, focusing primarily on acute cases within a family practice setting.
  • Manage possible Workman's Compensation cases; general knowledge is beneficial.
  • Perform various in-office procedures, including mole and cyst removal, sutures, in-grown toenail procedures, Paps, and well-women exams.
  • Assume responsibility for front office duties and blood draws if the Medical Assistant is unavailable.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Must have Workman's Compensation experience in New York state.
  • Ability to perform in-office procedures independently, including mole and cyst removal, sutures, in-grown toenail procedures, Paps, and well-women exams.
