Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an 8-day assignment with our client in Utah, commencing Jul 14, 2026. This role involves seeing a high volume of patients daily, managing a diverse range of cases including IUD and abscess removals, mammograms, pap smears, physicals, and specialized care for diabetic patients and DOT Physicals, with shifts from 9am-6pm.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to a high volume of patients, aiming for at least 40 patients per day or 4 patients per hour.
  • Perform procedures such as IUD removal, abscess removal, and ingrown toenail removal.
  • Conduct diagnostic and screening services including mammograms, pap smears, lab work, physicals, and EKG readings.
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and provide follow-up care.
  • Administer IV fluids for dehydration.
  • Perform DOT Physicals.
  • Prescribe controlled substances (CSR 2-4) and other medications, including amoxicillin, cholesterol medications, clonazepam, metformin, and glipizide.


Additional Information

  • Required: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
  • Experience in high-volume patient areas is essential.
  • Comfortable seeing at least 4 patients per hour.
