Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Family Practice Needed in Massachusetts

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day assignment in Massachusetts. The role requires long-term coverage, working Monday through Thursday, 7a-4p, managing the physical health, acute medical issues, and chronic co-morbidities of psychiatric patients in an inpatient psychiatric unit, with patient ages ranging from 10 up to elderly.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage the physical health of psychiatric patients.
• Address acute medical issues and chronic co-morbidities for patients aged 10 up to elderly.
• Provide care within an inpatient psychiatric unit.

• Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine
• Other Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day
• LOA: 120 Days
• Requirements: 2+ years of experience in family medicine, with the ability to practice independently in Massachusetts.
