Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant in Maine for an 80-day assignment starting Feb 22, 2027. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care and walk-in clinic support, including managing a high volume of geriatric patients, chronic care, medication management, and minor urgent care cases, typically across four 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive family medicine and walk-in clinic services.
• Manage a significant volume of geriatric patients.
• Deliver full-scope primary care.
• Oversee chronic care management and medication management.
• Offer support for walk-in clinic patients, including minor urgent care cases.
• Demonstrate comfort and proficiency in managing patients on chronic medications.
• Conduct post-discharge follow-ups for patients from the Emergency Department.
• Address higher acuity cases, often presenting in an elderly patient population.
