Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment in North Dakota. This role involves providing solo primary care and managing walk-in appointments at a rural satellite clinic, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and no late nights or weekends. The client seeks a dedicated professional to manage a diverse patient load.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage scheduled primary care appointments, typically every 30 minutes.
• Handle walk-in appointments for acute care needs.
• Provide care for patients with chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, and COPD.
• Perform preventative exams, including well-woman exams.
• Transfer out emergencies while treating what is manageable within clinic resources.
• Utilize Cleo Wave for lab orders, with results typically available the next day.

• Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine
• EMR: RPMS
• Work Setting: Outpatient rural satellite clinic; solo provider.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM; no late nights, no weekends, closed on federal holidays.
