Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in California

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for an engaging 65-day assignment in California. The client offers a flexible schedule of 16 hours per week, across 2-4 shifts, with clinic hours Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient visits, including checkups, screenings, and vaccinations, with an on-site lab available for follow-ups and prescriptions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct patient visits, including checkups, screenings, and vaccinations.
• Provide follow-up care and manage prescriptions with on-site lab support.
• Deliver family care, chronic condition management, and wellness services.
• Serve a diverse patient population, including the Medi-Cal community, Medicare patients, and Imperial Health Insurance (IEHP) members.
• Manage acute care cases such as suturing, splinting, EKG and X-ray interpretation, nosebleeds, and biopsies.
• Treat rural health patients of all ages in a multi-specialty acute full-scope primary care setting.
