Our client in Florida is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 16-day assignment. This outpatient role requires coverage on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including paid administrative time. The Physician will focus on bread and butter family practice, occupational medicine for government employees, pre-employment physicals, chronic and acute care, and medication management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide family practice and occupational medicine services for government employees.
Conduct pre-employment physicals for law enforcement, fire, and civilian personnel.
Manage chronic care conditions and provide medication management.
Handle acute care walk-in visits.
Dispense medications on-site as needed, rarely including controlled substances for short-term needs.
Care for patients with GLP1s and ADHD.

Call Schedule: No Call
Patients per day: Typically 12-15 patients with 30-60 minute appointments; up to 18 physicals per day (60 minutes each). Includes 2 same-day appointments per day.
LOA: 16 days
Staffing Mix: Solo Physician role with a part-time Nurse Practitioner (Tuesday - Friday) and three per diem Nurse Practitioners for vacation coverage. Supported by three full-time Medical Assistants (front desk, day-to-day, back office).
