Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Georgia

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment in Georgia. This collaborative role, with scheduling details to be determined, involves providing guidance and oversight to Nurse Practitioners, including clinical meetings, chart reviews, and onsite observations to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with 4 Nurse Practitioners.
• Maintain a formal agreement as a delegating Physician, as required by state regulations in Georgia.
• Be available for questions to discuss specific cases with patients that the Nurse Practitioner needs collaboration on.
• Conduct at least one direct, onsite practice observation of the APRN per year.
• Participate in documented quarterly clinical collaboration meetings.
• Review 100% of controlled substance records quarterly.
• Review 100% of adverse outcome records within 30 days.
• Review at least 10% of all other patient charts annually.
