Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in Kentucky

Our client is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment in Kentucky. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a designated lunch break. Responsibilities include acting as a regional medical director, overseeing advanced practice providers across multiple locations, performing daily sick call rounds, and managing a balanced mix of clinical and administrative duties.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Acting regional medical director
• Overseeing 3 - 7 APPs across 4 locations
• Weekly visits to each of the 4 facilities under the providers purview
• 50/50 mix of clinical and administrative duties
• Daily sick call rounds in the morning
• Restricted housing units rounding once per week
• Physicals consults, emergency consults, admissions consults
• Bread and butter, cold cough flu, sutures and splinting
• Charting
• EMR Queue reviewal
• Lab and x-ray reviewal
• RHU visits
