Job Description

Our client in New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment beginning Oct 5, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary and urgent care in an outpatient clinic, managing walk-ins, and delivering full-spectrum Family Medicine, including acute and chronic condition management, admissions, and supporting emergency and inpatient care. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary and urgent care in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Manage walk-in patients effectively.
  • Perform full-spectrum Family Medicine, including history and physicals, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Order and interpret laboratory results and imaging studies.
  • Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Admit patients and coordinate higher-level care when necessary.
  • Support emergency care within a 24/7 facility.
  • Provide inpatient care for an average census of 5–15 patients.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to Native American and Alaska Native communities, including Zuni Tribe and Navajo Nation patients.
