Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in New Mexico

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for our client in New Mexico. This 120-day assignment involves working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing comprehensive outpatient primary and urgent care. The role includes diagnosis, treatment planning, and managing acute and chronic conditions, with an emphasis on culturally sensitive care for Native American and Alaska Native communities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide full-spectrum Family Medicine in an outpatient clinic and urgent care setting.
• Perform history and physicals, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Admit patients and coordinate higher level care, including managing an average inpatient census of 5–15.
• Offer emergency care support within a 24/7 facility.
• Deliver culturally sensitive care to Native American and Alaska Native communities, including Zuni Tribe and Navajo Nation patients.
