Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for an impactful 60-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing Aug 3, 2026. This role involves serving as an acting site medical director, overseeing APPs, performing daily infirmary rounds, managing sick calls, conducting various physicals and consultations, and providing comprehensive general medical care within a structured 7:30am - 4pm schedule.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as acting site medical director, providing oversight to APPs.
  • Conduct daily infirmary rounds in the morning.
  • Perform rounds in restricted housing units.
  • Manage sick call, physicals, emergency, and admissions consultations.
  • Provide comprehensive infirmary care, including IV treatments, oxygen management, and general medical cases.
  • Perform minor procedures such as sutures and splints.
  • Address common conditions like colds, coughs, flu, bronchitis, and pain.
  • Conduct MAT Program follow-ups every three months for patients on Vivitrol and Revia, addressing dual diagnosis for addiction.
  • Monitor transgender patients, managing bloodwork and medication (approximately 10% of the patient population).
  • Engage in chronic care management, including chronic care clinics every six months, with extreme cases referred out.
  • Manage charting, EMR queue reviewal, and lab and x-ray reviewal.


Additional Information
