Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in South Dakota

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment in South Dakota. The schedule offers flexible options, including weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 10-12 hour shifts 4-5 days per week, with optional weekend hours. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses while promoting overall wellness in an outpatient clinic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health assessments for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other health concerns.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and lifestyle counseling.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
