Job Description

Our client in South Dakota is actively seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Nov 2, 2026. This role offers flexible schedule options and involves providing comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses for patients of all ages, while conducting routine check-ups and physical examinations in a patient-centered environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose, treat, and help prevent illnesses and injuries, promoting overall wellness in a patient-centered environment.
  • Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Manage a patient volume of approximately 12 to 16 patients per day.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other health concerns.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
  • Provide preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and lifestyle counseling.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with RPMS EMR system.
