Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterology - Advanced [EUS/ERCP] Needed in GA

Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Gastroenterologist for a 13-day assignment in Georgia, starting Oct 30, 2026. This Physician will work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, primarily in an outpatient setting. The role involves performing advanced and general gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP and EUS, alongside a half-day of clinic per week.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide advanced and general gastroenterology procedures
• Perform ERCP and EUS procedures without exception
• Conduct EGDs, colonoscopies, and endoscopies
• Work exclusively in an outpatient environment, with no inpatient or call duties
• Dedicate four days per week to procedures
• Manage one half-day of clinic and administrative tasks weekly
• Allocate 30 minutes for single EGD or colonoscopy procedures
• Allocate 1 hour for combined EGD and colonoscopy procedures

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Gastroenterology
• EMR: Meditech EHR
• Must be proficient in ERCP and EUS procedures
• Work setting: Outpatient exclusively
• No call requirements, as dedicated GI hospitalists cover all call duties
