Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in Indiana

Our client in Indiana seeks an Advanced Gastroenterologist for a 182-day assignment. The schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, involving one clinic day and four days in endoscopy weekly. This role requires 10 days of call per month, including a 1:3 weekend call rotation. The incoming Physician will perform a range of procedures including upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, injection of varices, ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic), and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and injection of varices.
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) procedures.
• Perform percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) procedures.
