We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This 7-day assignment is scheduled to begin on Dec 25, 2024, running through Jan 1, 2025, and involves 24-hour on-call shifts for seven consecutive days. The physician will manage consults, inpatient care, and transfers, supported by a dedicated GI team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for seven consecutive days
Manage consults, inpatient care, and patient transfers
Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
Collaborate effectively with APPs, rounding nurses, and the GI team
Must be ERCP trained

Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Controlled Substances Registration (CSR), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP), Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)
