Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in NC

Job Description

Our client seeks a skilled Gastroenterologist for a 90-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Feb 1, 2027. This role entails daily shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, focusing on a comprehensive array of gastroenterological procedures including upper and lower GI endoscopies, biopsies, and polyp excisions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Upper GI endoscopy
• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal
• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
• Perform Upper GI endoscopy with injection of varices
• Conduct Small Bowel biopsy
• Perform Lower GI endoscopy
• Perform Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Perform Rigid Sigmoidoscopy
• Conduct Colonoscopy
• Conduct Colonoscopy with biopsy
• Conduct Colonoscopy with excision of polyp
