Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in New York

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician for an 84-day assignment in New York. The role features a 7 on, 7 off schedule, combining clinic and operating room duties along with weekend call. This physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinic services, performing various scopes, managing hospital coverage, and handling inpatient consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology clinic services.
• Perform various diagnostic and therapeutic scopes, including upper and lower GI, colonoscopies, and endoscopies.
• Manage hospital coverage, including inpatient consults.
• Participate in night and weekend call rotations.

• Setting: Clinic and hospital with call responsibilities
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, including night and weekend rotations
• Patient Volume: Approximately 16 patients per day in clinic, with 8-10 scopes daily
• Staffing Mix: Full support staff in the operating room; Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in clinic managing their own patient roster.
