Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in Ohio

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a 46-day assignment in Ohio. This role involves performing a variety of general GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies, along with managing an outpatient clinic where therapeutic EGDs are conducted. The schedule is set for Mondays and Tuesdays, from 8am to 4pm, focusing on healthy patients within a dedicated clinic environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform general GI procedures including colonoscopies and endoscopies
• Conduct therapeutic EGDs
• Manage an outpatient clinic
• Provide care for healthy patients
• Handle upper and lower endoscopies

Additional Information

• Board Certifications: Gastroenterology, Surgery, General Surgery
• EMR: G MED
• Work Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day minimum
• LOA: 46 Days
• Staffing Mix: The facility operates with 1 Physician, 0 NPs, and 0 PAs, supported by anesthesiologists, RNs, and technicians.
• Specific Requirement: Our client has a preference for Gastroenterologists but will also consider General Surgeons capable of performing these GI procedures.
