Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in Virginia

Our client in Virginia is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an 84-day assignment. This role involves working two weeks per month, Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm with night call from 5pm to 7am, and Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7am. Daily responsibilities include an average of 8-10 admissions, 4 procedures, and 2-4 average add-on procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform an average of 8-10 admissions
• Execute an average of 4 procedures
• Manage an average of 2-4 add-on procedures

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Out of house call
• Patients per day: 20-25

• Staffing Mix: 3 MD/DOs, 0 NPs/PAs
• ERCP experience preferred
