We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician for a 90-day assignment in Washington, starting Nov 9, 2023. The role involves a variable schedule, including Monday-Friday clinic hours and 24-hour call, focusing on rounding, admissions, and standard endoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform rounding and admission duties
Conduct standard endoscopy procedures (excluding ERCP)
Manage 24-hour unrestricted call for consults, rounding, and add-on ACU cases
Additional Information
Board Certifications: Gastroenterology
Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
EMR: Epic
Setting: Inpatient
Call Schedule: Inhouse 24-hour call, 8AM-8AM as scheduled, for consults, rounding, and add-on ACU cases
Patient Volume: 12-14 patients per day
LOA: 90 Days
Staffing Mix: 3 GI providers, hospitalists, and 2 APPs
