Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in WA

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join our client in Washington for a 90-day assignment commencing Nov 2, 2026. This full-time role operates on a 7:30 to 16:30 schedule, Monday through Friday, providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care. The Physician will perform essential procedures like colonoscopies, EGDs, flexible sigmoidoscopies, and dilations, alongside managing a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform colonoscopies
• Conduct EGDs (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
• Execute flexible sigmoidoscopies
• Perform gastrointestinal dilations
• Manage general GI procedures
• Conduct advanced procedures including ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
• Perform EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)
• Utilize double balloon enteroscopy (if applicable)
• Perform capsule endoscopy (if applicable)

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Gastroenterology
• EMR System: Epic
• Work Setting: Outpatient Endoscopy Center and Inpatient Hospital setting
• Patient Volume: 14-16 patients per day in the Outpatient Endoscopy Center, average daily census of 4 patients in the hospital
