Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterologist Needed in West Virginia

We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for our client in West Virginia. This 60-day assignment involves working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month, ideally consecutive. The role primarily focuses on outpatient GI consults and performing various scopes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform outpatient GI consults
• Conduct 8-12 scopes daily
• Manage a patient population with diverse GI conditions
• Interpret and read own pathology reports
• Work two weeks per month, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

• Board Certifications: Gastroenterology
• Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Call Schedule: No Call
• Patients per day: 8-12
• Staffing Mix: 1-2 APPs, Nurses, MAs
