Locum Tenens Physician - General Surgeon Needed in Mississippi

Our client in Mississippi is seeking a General Surgeon for a 90-day assignment, offering flexible start dates. The role involves covering 24-hour call shifts, preferably 8 or more per month, performing essential procedures such as laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform Laparoscopic Surgery
• Conduct Appendectomy procedures
• Execute Cholecystectomy procedures
• Perform Hernioplasty
• Execute Nissen Fundoplication

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Surgery is required
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required
• The facility utilizes Cerner EMR
• This is a Call Only position with Out of House Call
• Shifts are 24-hour call, 8 AM to 8 AM, with a preference for 8 or more shifts per month
• LOA: 90 Days
