Locum Tenens Physician - General Surgeon Needed in North Carolina

Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled General Surgeon for an immediate 90-day assignment. This crucial role involves providing call coverage, primarily on weekends with some weeknights across various locations, performing a range of general surgery procedures including adult and pediatric cases, laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomies and cholecystectomies, and preferred trauma surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform adult and pediatric general surgery procedures.
• Conduct laparoscopic surgeries, including appendectomies and cholecystectomies.
• Provide trauma surgery when preferred.
• Execute chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement when preferred.

• Call Schedule: Out of House Call, primarily weekends with some weeknights
