Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology Needed in MO

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-day assignment in Missouri, commencing Dec 1, 2026. This role involves 6p-6a shifts, where you will round with physicians, manage a patient panel, handle consults from the ER, and document progress notes. Strong preference is given to candidates with experience in stem cell infusions and managing patients who present to the clinic with severe symptoms often requiring inpatient admission.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide care including stem cell infusions (strongly preferred)
• Round on patients in collaboration with physicians
• Manage a dedicated patient panel
• Conduct consults from the emergency room
• Document comprehensive progress notes
• Care for Hematology and Oncology - Car T program patients on a specialized inpatient unit
• Address needs of patients reporting to the clinic with severe symptoms who may require admission
