Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology Needed in Missouri

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for an inpatient assignment in Missouri. This 78-day assignment involves 12-hour night shifts, three times a week, from 6p-6a. Responsibilities include performing stem cell infusions, rounding with physicians, managing patient panels, handling emergency room consults, and completing progress notes.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Performing stem cell infusions (strongly preferred)
• Rounding on patients with the attending Physician
• Managing patient panel
• Handling consults from the emergency room
• Completing progress notes
• Managing patients admitted to the inpatient side from the clinic

Additional Information

• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: No call required
• Patients per day: 8-13
• LOA: 78 Days
• Staffing Mix: Always an attending Physician and most of the time another APP
• Cases: Hematology and Oncology, specifically Car T program patients, all located on one floor
