Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology Needed in MO

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant for a 78-day assignment in Missouri, commencing Jan 4, 2027. The successful candidate will work night shifts from 6p-6a, supporting a clinic open seven days a week, and will manage a patient panel, perform ER consults, document progress notes, round with physicians, and handle stem cell infusions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform stem cell infusions
• Round on patients with the physician
• Manage a patient panel
• Handle consults from the emergency room
• Document progress notes
• Manage patients reporting to the clinic with severe symptoms who require inpatient admission

Additional Information

• Experience with stem cell infusions is strongly preferred
• The clinic operates seven days a week and is affiliated with the inpatient unit
• Cases involve Hematology and Oncology patients, including those in the Car T program, with all patients located on one floor
• EMR: Epic
