Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in Indiana

We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 90-day assignment in Indiana, commencing Dec 21, 2026. The schedule involves Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, with 36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage per week. The role also includes hospital call coverage every 4th or 5th week for one full week, focusing on new consults during weekdays and rounding/emergent consults on weekends. This position primarily involves providing benign hematology and oncology care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care, primarily focusing on benign cases.
• Manage ambulatory clinic patients for 36 hours per week.
• Participate in a rotating hospital call schedule, covering new consults on weekdays.
• Perform rounding and emergent consults on Saturdays and/or Sundays during call weeks.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Hematology and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• EMR: Cerner
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of house call rotation every 4th or 5th week for one full week at a time, including weekday new consults and weekend rounding/emergent consults.
• Patient Volume: 15-18 patients per day
• LOA: 90 Days
