Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in Massachusetts

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 160-day assignment. This role involves a preferred Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, with a flexible 4 or 5-day work week option. The physician will manage a diverse caseload of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including new patient consultations, follow-ups, and care planning, while sharing inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a caseload spanning both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
• Provide care for breast, lung, colon, rectal, and prostate cancers.
• Treat hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
• Address benign hematology conditions, including anemia and clotting disorders.
• Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and develop care plans.
• Participate in inpatient consultation services.
• Share night and weekend call duties equally with other oncologists.
