Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in MO

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist Physician for a 60-day assignment with our client in Missouri, commencing Sep 3, 2026. The incoming physician will primarily manage medical oncology and hematology patients, conducting consults, follow-ups, and potentially bone marrow procedures. This role involves an anticipated 18-25 patient encounters per shift, focusing on a mix of hematology and medical oncology cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care for primarily medical oncology and hematology patients.
• Conduct patient consults, follow-ups, and perform possible bone marrow procedures.
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 40% hematology and 60% medical oncology.
• Handle an average of 18-25 patient encounters per shift.
• Exclude acute leukemia or malignant hematology cases from practice.

Additional Information

• Experience with Epic EMR is required.
